新西兰卫生部长 Simeon Brown 宣布，新西兰医学委员会（Medical Council of New Zealand）完成新一轮成员任命，共有四名新成员加入委员会，同时两名现任健康专业委员获得连任。

此次新任命的四名医学委员会成员包括：

• Dr Derek Sherwood
• Dr Manoja Kalupahana
• Dr Roderick Mulgan
• Andie Cook

此外，现任健康专业委员：

• Dr Kenneth Clark
• Dr Hinamaha Lutui

获得再次任命，继续参与医学委员会工作。

他特别指出，Dr Kenneth Clark自今年6月当选医学委员会主席以来，持续领导委员会开展工作；同时，Ming-chun Wu担任副主席，协助委员会推进相关事务。

Four new appointments and two reappointments have been made to the Medical Council of New Zealand, Health Minister Simeon Brown says. 

The four new members of the Council are Dr Derek Sherwood, Dr Manoja Kalupahana, Dr Roderick Mulgan, and Andie Cook, Mr Brown says.

Dr Kenneth Clark and Dr Hinamaha Lutui have been reappointed as health practitioner members.

“I acknowledge outgoing members Dr Rachelle Love, David Ivory, Simon Watt, and Dr Charles Hornabrook, and thank them for their contribution to the Council,” Mr Brown says.

“I also recognise Dr Clark’s ongoing contribution since he was elected as Chair in June. He continues to lead the Council, with Ming-chun Wu as Deputy Chair.

“The Medical Council plays a vital role in protecting the health and safety of New Zealanders by ensuring practitioners are fit and competent to practice, and I thank each of the appointees for their commitment to patients,” Mr Brown says.
