我很高兴地通知大家，我将参选即将举行的选举，竞选奥拉基选区（Orakei Ward）的市议员。
今天和我一同出席的还有市长，他不仅支持我的参选，还表示如果我们两人都在今年的选举中胜出，他将再次任命我为副市长。
我很期待有机会再次代表奥拉基选区，同时也有望继续担任副市长。今天，奥拉基地方委员会主席斯科特·米尔恩（Scott Milne）也与我一同出席，这让我感到非常高兴。
我一直以能支持市长在其最重要的倡议上而感到自豪，例如设立“奥克兰未来基金”（Auckland Future Fund）和启动“受管组织改革”（CCO Reform）。

I’m pleased to advise I’m putting up my hand to be your Councillor for Orakei Ward in the upcoming elections
Alongside me today was the Mayor, who has endorsed my candidacy and confirmed his intention to reappoint me his Deputy, should we both be successful at this year’s election.
I’m excited to have the chance to represent Orakei again, with the possibility of continuing as Deputy Mayor. It was also good to have Orakei Local Board chair Scott Milne with me today too.
I’ve been proud to support the Mayor on his most important initiatives, such as establishing the Auckland Future Fund and initiating CCO Reform.
There’s no-one else like him round the Council table who has his experience in construction, property development, engineering, costings and financing of projects across a variety of areas including commercial and residential developments
What I bring is my energy, my ability to connect people, my communication and my ability to drive financial efficiency and change through our committees.
Our future is bright, and I hope I can count on your support in the upcoming election.
