Directors Whaimutu Dewes and Owen Coppage have been reappointed to the Transpower Board until 2029, ensuring governance continuity as the national grid operator embarks on a transformative $13 billion investment programme over the next decade, State Owned Enterprises Minister Simeon Brown says.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhaimutu Dewes brings strong governance expertise, risk management, and a focus on health and safety, alongside effective stakeholder relationship skills to help navigate energy sector challenges and uphold public trust,\u201d Mr Brown says.<\/p>\n
\u201cOwen Coppage has expertise in energy utilities, technology, digital transformation, and IT project oversight which will help keep Transpower at the forefront of energy advancements.<\/p>\n
Mr Brown also announced the reappointment of Rukumoana Schaafhausen as a director of Kiwi Group Capital, Kiwibank\u2019s holding company.<\/p>\n
